For sale: this very rare 2006 Fender Jazz Bass from masterbuilder Dennis Galuska. Only 20 pieces made! Het betreft hier een Zero Fret gelimiteerde Vintage Jazz Bass in de kleur Ice Blue, Gemaakt door de meester bouwer Dennis Galuszka van de Fender Custom Shop uit Californië. Van deze bas zijn er slechts 20 gemaakt. Wat een bas! Dennis mail over deze exclusieve bas: I originally built the Zero Fret to solve a problem for Mike Dirnt of Green Day. He wanted a tilt back head stock with a solid nickel nut, so the open strings would sound the same as the fretted ones. To simplify things and keep it Fender-looking I added a zero fret. For this one of a kind Ice Blue active custom bass I decided to do something a little different. I have always preferred the sound of a passive bass but I wanted more EQ options so I decided to use our 18 volt pre-amp and only give it 9 volts for a much mellower tone. This in combination with the Jaco Pastorius pick ups it became a great sounding and versatile Jazz Bass. It is definitely one of my favorites!
