For seven years, we have prayed for healing for my mom. On Saturday, she received that healing. Not in the way we wanted, but in the way God had planned. Losing her is hard, especially eight months after we lost dad. There are no words to express the emptiness in my heart. For now, I hold on to memories and to hope. I also hold on the knowledge that she is in a place where there will be no more surgeries, no more chemo or radiation, no more cancer. Her heart is no longer longing to be with my dad, because I believe on Saturday they were reunited. They had 30 years together on earth, but now they will have eternity. There she is happy and healthy.
