For several years Ive had an idea to use my interest in photography as an avenue for blessing others. I am not sure what has held me back...frequent moves, insecurity, doubt, lack of wisdom...probably all of it. But after a lot of prayer, preparation, and consideration, I am ready to give birth to All are in His Light Photography Project (free photography for families living with special needs and/or special financial needs). Using this format, I aim to share my burgeoning talent by capturing the light that falls on the special faces of those whom God brings into my path. I love these faces and I want to create images of them that, not only bless their families with tangible reminders of how beautiful they are, but also permeate social media, redefining what true beauty is, and reminding everyone that Gods light truly falls on every child. My vision is that qualifying families will receive a free photo session, free DVD of all edited pictures, and $25 worth of prints and frames from a local craft store. In the past I have taken photos for a family of which the father was in prison. The family was able to send semi-professional pictures to the father and was able to use the prints and frames to give meaningful but affordable gifts to their friends and family for Christmas. I hope that other families can be blessed in this way. Please join me by praying that I can make this idea real. Although I realize pretty pictures are very low on most families priority lists...feeling loved and having someone see beauty in your life is not. Please pray that others will see the love and light of Jesus Christ through this project.
