°°°SECOND LIST TO BE RELEASED IN A FORTNIGHT The much waited second admission list is set to be released in two weeks time. This was made known by the university Director, Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), Mr. Emmanuel Ojukwu. According to Ojukwu, the second list which includes the pre science list and biological list and other lists would or might even be released earlier before the fortnight. He affirmed that all matters regarding admission lists would be concluded within two weeks to enable the new students matriculate together. He further added that the Direct entry list would also be released within the stipulated time. Also, He disclosed that advertisement for the application for enrollment into the institutions Diploma programme would commence before this week runs out. On the issue of Hostel accommodation, the institutions spokesman stated that it is an unfortunate situation and the school has placed it as a top priority to the federal government and hopefully, the FG would respond positively. He added that Elmada hostel is still vacant for students. He however said that it is beyond the university management to direct land lords to reduce cost rather appeal to their conscience. The Chief protocol officer of the school urged candidates who were unable to gain admission into the institution to apply to the affiliated institutions like the Federal College of Education (Technical), Umunze and the Enugu State College of Education (Technical) as they offer the same certificate at the end of the four year programme. For the Old Students and the new students, the biometric capturing system would be introduced in all internal (semester) examinations. According to Mr. Ojukwu, this is to checkmate the spate of impersonation and other forms of examination malpractices in the university. (e don be 4 some of my guys dem!!!)
