For some reason, i find it humerus that the many attempts to vilify the whole anonymous movement by those in power, is falling far short of their intended goal. As we all know, trolls are not to be fed. But thats exactly what the corrupt in power do, they try to stamp out any idea, or movement that offends them, publicly calls them on their lies, or attempts to show the world their true nature. in the case of anonymous, thats feeding the trolls. Anonymous has become so far spread and popular due to its goal of shining a glaring spotlight on the wrongdoings of government, police, military, and the upper echelons of political, and economic power. This rings true with many, who have spent decades being oppressed by unfair practices of the elite. For example. GE last year payed $0 in taxes. It did however receive over $1 billion in tax returns. Facebook claimed over a billion in profits, and recieved 400+ million on its tax return. Even though it payed $0 in taxes. It seems to me, that the large corporations have the entire world under its thumbs, it pays nothing in taxes, yet receives massive returns. It pays their employees very little, yet CEOs make HUGE bonuses. Most corporations dont actually produce anything but a paper trail. Trading numbers with other corporations that trade numbers. SO before you raise taxes to pay for war. Before you raise taxes to pay for Police. Before you raise taxes to pay for government. Why dont you try closing tax loopholes, add large taxes to money being transported outside of the country to tax havens (ide say 70$ would put a stop to it) And penalize corporations that outsource jobs to nations where workers are exploited. Tax Bonuses of CEOs at the same rate you do a normal pay check. most working class people lose 30% of their pay to taxes, fica, social security, and other such government entities, why should bonuses be any different? And most importantly. Make it illegal to be a payed lobbyists . Remove corporate donations to political campaigns. Force all political officials to completely disclose their money, and assets, and do a yearly audit of these officials. We all know our government is corrupt. We ALL need to stand up. If we dont, do you think they will change all by themselves?
