For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. 2 Corinthians 11:13,14 There are many people that are of the enemy (some knowingly, some unknowingly) who are sent into churches, Christian organisations, Christian facebook pages etc to stir up trouble and cause division. I believe I have seen a couple on this page, although I could be wrong. But regardless of if they have been on this page or not, it happens and we need to be ever discerning in these last days. I believe that the ones who appear on fb come appearing as Christians who are kind and helpful, and quite knowledgeable in the Word. They soon show their true colours though and start to get nasty and rude when you dont conform to what they want. These ones are fairly easy to deal with as they can just be blocked/banned from pages. The ones in churches and organisations etc are a different kettle of fish. There are many, many famous preachers out there that have been sent by the enemy to distract people from the word and distort the word, but it is done ever so subtly. They are much harder to spot and are harder to deal with because they have worked their way up the ladder so to speak, or have just been there for so long that nobody has noticed the different doctrines they preach. They hold high positions in the church, or wherever they are, and have gained everyones trust. This is the most dangerous I reckon. These ones start off scriptural but over the course of time, they ever so slightly change their doctrine and people just dont notice. They have started to trust these people because they are biblical, therefore they dont realise the subtle changes in the preaching, or if they do, they dont say anything because they think they must be wrong because Pastor so and so is scriptural so he/she cant be wrong. They think its all in their head and so they dont question it for fear of offending or being made to feel stupid. Im here to tell you to question these teachings if you think something is amiss. PRAY about it and ask the Lord to reveal HIS truth to you. DO NOT always just sit in the pews, or sit on your couch and believe every word these preachers say. Be a Berean and read the scriptures for yourself prayerfully. They have come to mislead and deceive people and it is working. Dont be one of the ones who is fooled by the feel good sermons and ear tickling of these so called preachers. Gods Word is meant (with the Holy Spirits help) to CONVICT us of our sin and to encourage us to be more Christ like, not to live our best lives now here on earth. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: John 16:8 This is all because God loves us and wants what is best for us, and is all in order to glorify Him, not ourselves. It really has nothing to do with us (as much as wed like to think it is, lol), its all about Him. We were bought with a price, we are not our own anymore, we are Gods. For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are Gods. 1 Corinthians 6:20 And just another positive verse. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
