For that BIG announcement I have every intention on making... I am still waiting for definite news but I can tell yall what I know thus far. It is so sad for me to say that I am having to back out of every signing next year. After Rebel and Readers in West Virginia this year I cant say when Ill get to do another one. Some of you may know that my husband is in the Army. We have been living in Georgia for the past 5 years and we have come down on orders. To where you ask? Alaska. You read that correctly. My husband is waiting to see if he can get his orders switched to Germany but if he cant we will be Alaska bound come December. I am excited, scared, nervous, and sad all in the same sense. Im excited to be starting a new journey. But scared and nervous to be starting all over again in a new place. Not to mention I call the South my home so I have no idea what to expect seeing as Im not accustomed to bitter cold temperatures and the wildlife that comes with Alaska. As for being sad, I have some wonderful friends, some that Id consider family, and I love Georgia. But Im not worried as I will be with my family and we all get to have this amazing experience together. Thankfully I have a career that lets me work from anywhere. So. I am in the process of trying to get Salvaged finished because it will be the last book that I will be able to write until I get settled in my new home, wherever that may be. Later in the week, I will announce whether or not Germany is a no go. Either way we are moving. If or when the time comes that I am able to attend a signing it will probably be on the West coast.
