For the business community, the new Africa should depict new concepts and business models built for Africans by Africans, and not carbon copies of Western business systems that may not work for the continent. It is imperative that we redefine leadership systems in Africa in order to build new business models that will help drive a new agenda for the continent. To achieve this, we must identify the key investments and infrastructure that have to be in place and also form strategic partnerships across sectors and nations to enable us expand and improve on our ability to develop as a continent.
