For the first time ever, I fell off of Magic and he ran away afterwards. We went for a little trail ride and he got spooked by something in the woods and started bucking. I landed on my lower spine in a sitting position but thankfully, Adrenaline kicked in and lasted long enough for me to call Ken (the barn owner), ride around in his Jeep to find my horse (in the neighbors pasture), and get him back to the barn. Sadly the adrenaline faded away more and more on the drive home and when I got home I couldnt get out of the car without help and I started hyperventilating. So on to the ER we went where I was given a room to wait for x-rays. Thankfully, Ive only got some deep bruising and inflammation so I got a shot on my butt to take the pain away so I can sleep. Pain pills and my bed are my best friends until Monday.
