For the first time in Zim chess history we have witnessed a very well organized tournament with Irvin Chivese as the tournament director and Figo as the arbirter, they showed par excellence and raised the bar beyond the usual boring organizers. If im allowed to be objective Irvin is by far better than Elton Mhangarayi in this regard. Sanity was been brought at last by these two guys. Their traits were so impeccable i.e time keeping, better understanding of the system (swiss), No one was booted out of the tournament, No swiss fixing, good crowd control,respect to the chess players inter alia. It was quite phenomenal. With all due respect Irvin should be the ZIM CHIEF Tournament DIRECTOR and figo should be incorporated as one of the Arbirters. They have earned my respect!!!!
