For the graduates who are about to enter college, just remember learning science/math/engineering/CS is hard, very very hard indeed, but the learning curve is also exponential; even after u spend several years at it, yes, YEARS, my little spoiled brats, it may still not come easier. Forget your Dewey experience, or your regents mentality; nothing in a quant field is fun, and success IS NOT EVEN GUARANTEED after years of toil, tears and sweat.
