For the last 4 months I have volunteered at a rescue bird aviary and I have to say that it amazes me how so many people take them on without realizing just how much love, time and care they need until it is to late thus they dont want them and either turn them loose or call place like this one and turn them over. With that said the rescue place relies on donations and new home replacement cost to survive the overhead of feed, supplies vet bills and rent. The unfortunate part is as of today the rescue place has lost their lease and must move. I am attaching a picture of a really nice bird that I am fostering who needs a home. His name is guapo and he loves to be out have his head and back rubbed and is teachable to mimic a lot of things verbally. There are others but Im starting with him first. He is available with his full cage for $300 which covers is cost for his past care and the cage.
