For the love of country, all Kenyans ought to support the patriotic move by president Uhuru and DP Ruto taking a voluntary pay cut. For the love of the far too many children who go hungry, without education, clothing and descent housing let all and sundry support the dialogue to make our government lean and more efficient. Sadly, a few misguided individuals have resorted to cheap, idiotic, childish and selfish tactics of undermining every effort to fight for the powerless and voiceless. The CORD leadership in particular is notorious in opposing initiatives for no other reason than undercut the governments effort to deliver what it promised the electorate. This is evil. To recap, the government is for revolutionizing education through introduction of affordable state of the art technology, agri-business revival through mechanization, land consolidation and irrigating arid lands, reducing the wage burden, infrastructure improvement and breaking trade barriers. CORD and its leadership is its no to everything policy, is agains all of the above.
