For the midwesterners who dont get the problem with a little rain in the desert:) The desert does not handle water well. The lake and river in the video is normally a Greenway with grass, trees and completely dry. There is at least 4-0 of water from last night/this mornings rain. You can see the high water mark on the sides of the hill. Water is typically allowed to cross the roads so pretty much all of Scottsdale is cut off to the south due to flooded roads. Pretty cool actually!!!
