For the past 5 years as a hobby I have been working on my Family - TopicsExpress

For the past 5 years as a hobby I have been working on my Family Tree. I will once again put our family tree on the Ancestry Network with all updates since over a year ago. I cancelled the MyHeritage site due to their price increases!! Family/Relations please feel free to download any portion of the tree - which according to Ancestry is no cost to guests!!! My mothers side is the most complicated due to both of her great grandparents immigrated here. Of course unfortunately Germany still is not keeping up us with us in the U.S.! The Stoicks are German Amish and located on the border - far southeast corner of Germany. Prior to the 1800s Germany had border wars with; Czechoslovakia, Poland & Australia. Our nationality may not be totally German on my Mothers side of the family. Without translation our true ancestry stops at my mothers great grand parents. The Fleigs are Bavarian German and slightly easier to trace. I will be inputing all Fleig & Stoick Families as my next project.....eventually I should be able to just connect the dots (This is what I did with all Whitney Families - so far over 20,000 (including Siblings) dating back to John & Elenor Whitney our direct ancestor. I subscribe to many obituary, marriages and birth archive notification sites which I also update the database. Some families are as current as my immediate familly !! As for my fathers side - both Whitneys and Tiffanys are traceable to the 1600s on both! Of course England is English! This includes siblings and their families. See the website that specialize on the Whitneys wiki.whitneygen.org/wrg/index.php/Main_Page). I have inputed for the past 2 years which is almost complete, the entire website. I have purchased several different genealogy reporting software which can provide many reports: 1 Marriage Listings By; State, Time Frame or County You will find many surnames or same surnames that has married into the Whitneys - Smith 32, Quackenbush 5, Cote 3, Flagg 5 (Possibly a change in spelling for Fleig - 1700/1800), Fischer 3, Wright 17, Herzog 3, Miller 2, Walker 6, Tiffany 3, Vicinus 2, DeMents 3, Kitchen 1, Dillon 2, etc. This proves at one point in time it really was a small world - 1600-1800 era. 2 Occupations 3 Buried At 4 Born, Resided or Died In Given Areas - County, State 5 War criteria and records 6 Cause Of Death/Medical I will update with link at a later date and after uploading of database.
