For the past few years, American Humane Association has partnered with the National Military Family Association to provide warm, playful and loving therapy dogs for their famous Operation Purple camps. With a helping paw, a shoulder to cry on, or just a wagging tail, these dogs can help provide comfort for these children in uncertain times. Over the years weve seen how much children can open up to trained therapy animals in ways they cannot or maybe will not with humans about the fear and uncertainty theyre facing.
