Accident At Jefferson St. & 5th Ave North (Looking East) 1958 and 2014 In this 1958 photo we can see the businesses that used to line Jefferson St in this area, close to present day Germantown. Upon close inspection the Great French Lick historic marker can be seen on the North side of Jefferson St. and the since demolished Jefferson St bridge (an exact copy of the Shelby Ave bridge) can be seen in the distance.
