For the second time in 4yrs i had to tear my two dogs apart. Scuffles are fine, snaps and snarls are ok, but this was a fight. Perhaps some ascension issues, Jax testing to see if the old man (Guaps) could be taken down. He found out that the answer is still NO. Both dogs were very sheepish afterwards and showed no signs of continued ill will. Both are now quite close to each other at my feet (my intervention was swift, unequivocal and unquestionable -- see my cover photo) These encounters are part of the deal - never pleasant, but survivable - part of the shaking out of pack dynamics. So.... to change the energy, to soothe and calm, we go to YYM and JSB. So beautiful. Intervene fearlessly when you have to, then be sure that all is well in your pack.
