For the second time in two days, a rant which took me nie on to an hour to create and yet unfinished, just disappeared. I cannot tell yall how freakin frustratin and painful it is to me when this too often occurrin situation arises! I think a lot of myself I guess to not give in and share my opinion always. never gave up, continued onward hoping what I offer does provide insight and/or a reason to debate. My convalescence and 63 birthday showed me that a sizable number do give a shit about what I rant. A humbling and honored position, Teaching. After six plus years I guess anyone who is honest in reporting the facts he or she has found through a mountain of research would have been caught in an untruth awhile ago and proving to be a reliable reporter of facts, as teachers do, would bound to have a number of like minded friends. Many of us here are not playing games, nothing wrong in that, but looking for things to share and enlighten. As I am an ardent admirer of the honorable Senator Bernie Sanders and coming across this article I had to say something in his defense. While the article by Mr. Gooden was not deprecating to Bernie exactly, I found what I believed a slanted theme and inaccurate reporting of the facts, in my opinion of course. He tries to make a case for the good Freshman Senator Warren being the one with top billing in this Warren/Sanders election campaign scenario. He state reasons why a Warren / Sanders ticket would be more advantageous for political and financial reasons. While not giving the same considerations and would apply to Bernie as well. Nor does he give any thought of Sanders refusing that billing. Why in the World would Bernie give up his influential position in the senate ad discard the political relations built up over the years to inter the Black Hole that is the Vice-Presidency. No power, no prestige that I can see, not that he would be interested in that attribute even if it would exist. ♫Not that kind of man , our Bernie is♫, sung to My kind of Town. Imagine this, you have successfully navigated the rungs of education and are a Senior who has earned an A++ average in Government and political science. Then along comes he new girl in town doing very well in her studies taking the same courses but is a Freshman. But for some reason she is put in the front row and you are relegated to the back of the class. seems a bit unfair, doesnt it. So, no upside for Bernie buddy. Reverse the billing and who benefits? The Freshman senator learns more from the man she has been emulating and God forbid should there be any reason due to ...well you know or ill health preventing President Sanders from fulfilling the duties of his office she is next in line. That is the worst case scenario, best case is that Bernie is elected to two terms. Where they continue to fight for the 99%,fight corruption in government and repeal Citizens United and pass state sponsored elections giving more a chance at the brass ring. Progressives take power away from the corporate owned Plutocratic Oligarchy, bring fair wage jobs to the electorate , ending spending on he never ending wars of profiteering, ending subsidies to the mega corporations, Big Farm and Big Pharma and the fossil fuel industries that have been sucking on he government teat since 1917! Tax the rich and Bobs yer Uncle! A rebuilt infrastructure , paid education for every citizen which s not a burden on the Treasury as the Reich would have us believe, but an investment in ur future paying dividends thereafter! The best free UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE on the planet leading other countries to improve theirs as well. We rebuild the countries We devastated with our wars and rebuild our reputation as the beacon of democracy to the World. We stop the pollution and make the guilty corporations pay for it! If it bankrupts them, then jut deserts. We turn those companies and corporations over to the employees to run. The legal mandate to make a profit at all costs will be gone, replaced by a primary business model of Do no harm and make everyone successful , restoring the American dream. A no cost to the American people as the trillions of dollars disappearing, spent on the military industrial complex , subsidies and yada yada yada is now pumped back into the country and still having trillions left over to build better schools, better school systems and scientific research that benefits the world and not the Korporations anymore! Oh Hell No! Thats Socialism and we were all taught what an evil socialism is from the 50s thru today! Well you ignorant SOBs, the dreaded Socialism gave you the forty hour workweek, remember that? A safer place to work, remember that? A fair living wage at one job, remember that? Overtime, affordable housing, safe neighborhoods for your children, no police state, remember that? Remember growing up in the fifties and sixties Yeah, like that. So at the end of Bernies second term a wiser and now universally loved Elizabeth Warren inherits the reins of a nation now well mended and engaged with other nations to build a better world. One free of a Family Rothschild and its New World Order for the now extinct 1% ! I like my story a hell of a lot better than the one of this author, Mr.Gooden. And if I may say so, it makes a lot more sense. I mean, DUHAH, I wrote it! So there too! Peace youse guys. A better world awaits us. Nothing can kill a IDEA and Anonymous IS an idea that Truth, Justice and Freedom are not just words anymore. Save and share please. Tying 2-3 generations together! This rarely, if ever, happens.
