For those asking I apologize for not being able to post. Weve been waiting for more news than just the accident. Jason is resting, but critical. We need your prayers. Last night our son, Jason, had a motorcycle accident. The worst nightmare we worried about. We are at VMC in San Jose. He has a broken left arm, broken right toe. He had a blood clot when he arrived, they did neurosurgery to remove the clot and relieve the pressure. He came out of surgery after only a couple hours which is a good sign. He has not regained consciousness yet. He does respond to requests to move arms and legs some, but not all requests. Hes not out of the woods yet. He had part of his skull removed to relieve pressure. They will replace it when his pressure us no longer a worry. He is under heavy sedation. We are at a wait and see point in recovery. He has a neurosurgeon, plastic surgeon and opthamological surgeon watching him. He was wearing a very good helmet but still cracked/fractured all the bones in his face from the upper jaw up. He is currently being less sedated to check motor movement hourly. Ill post what I know as it comes up. The next 3-7 days are critical for brain swelling. Keep up the positive thoughts please.
