For those following my weight loss, etc. here is the update: Cumulative numbers Since September 1, 2013: Total weight lost - 45 pounds Total inches lost from waist- 3 inches Sept 1, 2013- Weight 246 pounds, 39 inch waist. Couldnt fit in most of my clothes. Started buying XXL clothes. Was drinking 2 liters of Mountain Dew per day. February 16, 2014- First day to weigh in at 224. Only change to diet had been reduction of Mountain Dew to 24 ounces (2 12 ounce cans per day) March 4, 2014- Gave up Mountain Dew for Lent Weight 224, 38 inch waist March 10, 2014- Started 1,000 calorie per day diet to go with stoppage of Dew. Weight 218, 38 inch waist March 13, 2014- Begin exercise: 1 mile walking (almost died the first day!) March 17, 2014- Weight 208, 37 inch waist. Still on diet and no Dew. March 24, 2014- Weight 204, Still strong Today- March 31, 2014- Weight 201 and still no Mountain Dew. I did cheat once this past week and gave in to a Wendys cheeseburger, but that is the only cheat so far. Walked 1.5 miles on the treadmill with a 5 degree incline in 20 minutes and did 180 steps on the stair climber and kettle bell workout. Waist is 36 inches and Im fitting into old clothes that I did not get to wear for very long, so they seem new again. Goal for next week is to be below 200 lbs for the first time in 7 years!
