For those interested in cycling, my proposed route around Southeast Asia goes roughly like this ; Main points of reference are Bangkok to Chiang Mai Thailand followed by a right turn into Laos (Vientiane) across country to Northern Vietnam (Hanoi) then the coastal route South to Saigon. Back inland and Through Cambodia then onto Burma. My approximate guess is roughly 5000 miles, give or take a few feet of swerve to dodge rabid dogs and crazy monkeys !!!!!!!!!!!!!
