For those interested in how Lloyd Welch proposed to me, continue reading!!! 💍❤💎☺😄💍 To start this story, it was agreed that we WOULD NOT buy each other Christmas presents this year seeing that we wanted the girls to have the best Christmas possible. With that being said; this Tuesday Lloyd told me that he may have broken the rules and snuck out to buy me a small gift. I looked at him and I was a little bummed. I felt bad knowing I hadnt purchased anything to return the favor. I told him that what he did wasnt fair but he just put a big smile on his face and said, Its nothing big. Its just a small way of showing you that I care. Its just small. ☺. Fast forward to Christmas Eve. I wasnt feeling well that morning. I had bad stomach cramps and was threatening to skip out on work after my interview that same day and go to the doctor. (I had no idea that skipping work would have completely ruined Lloyds plan). As I got to work though, I started feeling better and told him that I would be getting off at my anticipated time, which was 6. This was a HUGE relief to Lloyd as he was actually scheduled to pick up the ring at 4 pm (this is why if I would have taken off work it would have severely ruined his plan). Things took a turn when I threw another curve ball at lloyd when I said that I was being released at 5 instead of 6. I was unaware that at that exact moment he had the ring on him and had no where to put it since he now had to suddenly pick me up from work. Therefore, he hid the ring in the trunk of the car, hoping I would find it. We then headed to his moms house where the plan was to eat dinner and then open ONLY Christmas eve presents. The original plan Lloyd had was to propose Christmas morning so we could have the girls there. Unfortunately, people didnt follow protocol lol. His family started opening ALL the presents (not just one like originally planned). Naturally, this left me waiting to see what he had gotten for me. Once everything had been opened I was wondering why he hadnt given me mine yet. I was wondering if maybe he was just going to give it to me the next morning. Because everyone was already at his parents house though, he had to come up with a way to propose on the fly so everyone (who could make it) could see it happen. Thankfully, I had given him an excuse to run out to the car once I thought I had left my phone in it. He gladly said Ill go check the car!. It was at that time he grabbed the ring from the trunk. He pulled it off flawlessly though. He told me my present was hiding under the Christmas tree skirt (and knowing lloyds sense of humor, I figured he was about to prank me with a spider toy or something). I couldnt find the present and said, I dont see anything!. It was then that lloyd said, Well them why dont you turn around and Ill show you?. I then turned to find my stud on one knee, with a big smile on his face asking me to marry him. I literally was in shock! I saw the ring and my heart was racing so fast! He caught me completely off guard!! I actually didnt say anything for a good 30 seconds. My mouth just hung open and I was screaming for joy! After soakimg it all it, I finally said YES! and he placed the ring on my finger. Telling this story makes me want to go back and replay that moment over and over again! I am so excited to spend the rest of my life with the man of my dreams!!! P.S. My gorgeous 1 carat ring is completely paid for! Somehow, Lloyd snuck out to the mall whenever he could and would put payments on it over the last 7 months! Where we have one car and live together, its a miracle he got away with it! I never knew!!!!
