For those of you on FB my friends and family the ones who REALLY know me. you know that I tend to be like sand paper on a sanding block a lot of the time, I am rough and unbending. also who likes to touch sandpaper? I have a belief system that was instilled in me by My 2 wonderful parents and good family morals. I stand for things I believe in and try my best not to falter. I DO NOT put up with Drama or allow people to hurt my family and the ones I am supposed to protect. But being like sandpaper on that sanding block I can be used to smooth out those rough edges and refine things and mold and shape them. It also means that it isnt always pretty while it is happening and there is a lot of dust. But once the project is finished if used correctly there is a beautiful piece ready for the world or you have totally screwed up and it needs professional help to correct it. I know that there are times a good wood worker needs to stop sanding and let it rest, here is the point I am getting to. I have problems not being that sand paper, I keep walls up around some people or the sandpaper out so others cant touch me or dont want to. I need prayers from any of you that will for the ability to step back sometimes and let the wood rest (Kids by the way) to realize they can and will sand themselves some at this point. to be able to use and find other tools and give them their own tools.
