For those of you who do not know my training partner for the past - TopicsExpress

For those of you who do not know my training partner for the past 3 years, Dustin Morrissey, has moved on to his new assignment and he will be sorely missed. I cannot count the number of killer training sessions we had together all over the world including places like Afghanistan, Korea, Japan, Okinawa, Switzerland, Hawaii, and all over CONUS, not to mention three different Mangudai 58 hour butt kickers. He is a 25 year younger version of me and is an expert in the principles and fundamentals of PME Hard. Get the team at TRANSCOM PME Hard Dustin, you are a beast brother! So I am breaking in a new training partner and an old battle buddy, Matt Conway. This week is his first week training with me and I am so proud of his progress. He is picking up the fundamentals of movement, stability, balance and the synergistic effects of combining strength and conditioning very well. He has hung in there during some intense high intensity interval training and Tabata protocol workouts. Matt is sore as all get up but he continues to work and does not quit, and this is what getting fit and healthy is all about...staying focused on your goals and not quitting. Even though he is new to this kind of training I have only pulled the throttle back on the training about a third and he is hanging. Today is day 5 for him and I am putting him through The Week 11 Day 4 session of TRX. For those familiar with he 12 week program, this is arguably the most intense, 70 minutes of total body training with agility sprints and shuttle runs to finish off that have even me hacking up my Garden of Life products! Having a new partner has caused me to get back into the teaching mode and I am surprised on how patient I have been. Dustin and I trained together so much that we identified the workout, strapped on our masks and got after it with not a word said until it was done. Maybe this is what I needed to start preparing me for life after the military! Anyways, for those hardcore trainers out there do an extra set for Dustin Morrissey and Matt Conway, one a fitness beast and the other starting on his PME Hard path but both with a warrior spirit that is second to none. PME Hard...Train Like We Do.
