For those of you who have been following the ear infection saga...here is the latest. I woke up this morning with a huge heat and unbearable pain coming from my right ear, I gently swabbed it and there was blood...it was bad yesterday and Friday but today was monumental (this has been going on for 2.5 months now in both ears, one or the other and at times simultaneously) Off to emergency at 6am..because wtf!? Right? They did a swab because there was blood and pus present (gross, I know) and ran blood tests. The ear surgeon will need to see me first thing tomorrow (this will be the same guy I saw last Thursday). They gave me morphine for the pain, it barely even took the edge off...my ear is almost swollen shut. Sent me home with percacet (sp?) to keep me somewhat comfortable until Tomorrow.
