For those of you who have been incredibly encouraging toward my painting and writing ... A profound Thank you! Both have been a dream and of recent, blessed by the Lord. Barbara Boughan, you are the only person I know that has EVER mentioned my obsession of drawing horses as a child; how in the heck you remembered that, I dont know. (There are some much better paintings in my photos. Enjoy.) I drew horses passionately as a child and actually had one published in the Western Horseman when I was about 7-8. BUT when I saw it in the magazine, it wasnt as good as I wanted it to be and thus, I let my perfectionistic brain limit my dream. I took art in HS but never really got the encouragement to push me further so ... I just painted and drew and wrote in my mind. In 2006, I crawled up into Gods lap and shared with Him my fears and tears, hopes and dreams ... And He answered. All glory goes to Him. My greatest desire in all of this is to see your faiths and belief and love of Him grow. If one painting can help you see the incredible wonder of God or if one statement, devotion, or article can cause you to pursue Him and seek His face, then it is worth it. One request ... when you see a child pursue a dream ... Help them in their road to fulfillment. Give them hope ... Help them pursue Gods gifts designed in them for His glory.
