For those of you who read my posts on this page and have known me for some time, an explanation is in order. I am not angry. I am not a thug. I am not a member of some political mafia. I am frightened to death for the blessed republic I live in. I am concerned that my children and those that follow will have a free country in which to thrive. I am convinced that those advocating compromise with evil, with progressivism, with socialism, with Marxism are part of the continuing problem. My comments are not designed to berate others but merely to continue to shake us all out of our stupor and work hard to retain the liberty we have been given by those who went before. It is not always pretty when folks disagree, but the battle is too important to ignore. I will work hard to make sure that I write with a soft touch, but, at the same time, speak truthfully even if the words seem harsh. Our country is in peril. There is no time to lose to move us back to our moorings found in our Declaration of Independence and Constitution. Those who stand in the way of that return are unhelpful. Thanks for listening.
