For those of you who remember all my post about 2 totally bonded senior bloodhounds,. Bonnie and Clyde, we had at the shelter and my struggles to find a forever home for them. Finally, my prayers were answered and they were on their way to an outstanding place, Ontario Bloodhound Rescue. But before they completed the journey to Canada Bonnie became severely ill and had to be put to sleep, so her ashes accompanied Clyde the remainder of the journey. Clyde was adopted by a wonderful family and they kept Bonnies ashes on the mantel for him beside his bed. Life was great for this old man and I was so grateful and overjoyed to know he would have the love and respect he deserved in his golden years. Sadly, I received the following email and am heartbroken by the news: Hi Darlene I hope your doing well. Im sorry to be the bearer of sad news but wanted to let you know that Clydes family recently lost him to cancer. He was very much his daddys boy and is very missed. We can never thank you enough for everything that you did for him and Bonnie. It was so nice to work with someone like yourself who really cares. Georgette In loving memory of Bonnie and Clyde whom are once again together and running free over the bridge. I love you both.
