For those of youbwho dont know how, where and why this challenge began here is the story. I have seen many people take this challenge and I applauded you. I have also seen many posting about how ridiculous the challenge is shouldnt we just send money. Money is fabukous but awareness is key because that is what makes legislators, research companies, pharmaceutical companies place their research and resources. So far the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge has raised $5.5 million dollars since July 29th...versus $32,000 same time last year. As a mother of a child with not one but TWO incurable at this moment, one neurological disorder and another a life threatening disease...I thank you for doing your part in rausing awareness for any good cause. I hope you enjoy the history of the challenge.
