For those questioning the boycott of woolworths and whether it will be effective- Please try to understand this from an economic perspective. It is not possible to boycott every store as that is not always practical and is not sustainable either. Boycotting the products wont make too much of a difference either as many of those products that are directly imported are not products ordinary consumers buy anyway. Thus the call for a systematic boycott. We will start with woolworths. If everyone comes on board the financial dent will exceed the profit made from selling Israeli goods. They will be forced to pull it from their shelves. When we achieve that BDS will calculate our next move - that may not even be necessary as the other big retailers are going to see it coming and pull the stock. Lets not argue about petty things- the principle here is that our message is being spread and that we show a united force (irrespective of religion). So I appeal to you to honour the call.
