For those that are in no doubt to be selected for team GB at the IPC European Championships in Swansea, come August. I just want to say congratulations to all of you and Im sorry I cant be part of the team. I tried as hard as I could... but due to sickness (cold) and the overall performance of my long jumping this season.. The likelihood of me being selected is little to none. The minimal standard is 6.00m and ive only jumped 5.90m and 5.89m... from there it went backwards. Ah well thats what you get for your first inconsistent year of long jumping.. its going to be up and down like a yo-yo. I mean if IPC and British Athletics do select me tomorrow.. then id be damn well surprised and be asking why to be honest... lol But hopefully next year will be different chapter, and I can aim for the IPC World Championships which I think is in Doha? So I guess its back to the drawing board...
