For those that missed it tonight... Here is... 🎁🎄Twas the night before a Frozen Christmas🎁🎄 Original poem, updated by The Snowflake Sisters :) Twas the night before Christmas, and all were asleep No sound through the castle, not even a peep The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes that Santa Claus soon would be there. Olaf was happily tucked up in his bed while visions of summer ran through his head And us in our onesies and Sven in his pen We had settled ourselves down to sleep, but then When out of the window there arose such a clatter, We sprang from our beds to see what was the matter. Elsa got frightened and ran to her room While Anna charged outside with a broom! She looked high and low, but could not see Where the noise was coming from, what could it be? But all of a sudden she looked to the roof With a squint of her eye she saw just a hoof! “Sven!” she thought, how did he get there?! But more reindeer appeared, as if out of thin air! Then she heard a voice, so gentle but quick And she knew in a moment it must be St Nick! Now Dasher! Now Dancer! Now, Prancer and Vixen! On, Comet! On, Cupid! On, Donner and Blitzen! To the top of the porch! To the top of the wall! Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all! They charged on the roof with all of their might quickly they sped, they couldn’t stay all night Anna couldn’t believe her eyes To tell of her find, she raced inside! And then, in a twinkling, Elsa heard on the roof the prancing and pawing of each little hoof. As she drew in her head and was turning around, down the chimney Santa came with a bound. He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot, and his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot. A bundle of toys he had flung on his back, and he looked like a peddler just opening his pack. His eyes--how they twinkled! His dimples, how merry! His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry! His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow, and the beard on his chin was as white as the snow. He had a broad face and a little round belly, that shook when he laughed, like a bowl full of jelly. Anna ran in, her eyes all a glowing Couldn’t wait to tell, her face all a-knowing But froze as she looked to the fireplace For Elsa was there with guilt on her face “Oh dear Elsa! what have you done?” “I’m sorry, I got scared, I didn’t mean to Freeze anyone” And there was Santa all fat and round, As still as a statue, sat on the ground Conceal, don’t feel, don’t let it show! Anna exclaimed “Don’t let it go!” But then in came Olaf, rubbing his eyes Looked to the ground.. well what a surprise! Santa was frozen, as still as could be ‘I know what to do!,’ Said Olaf, ‘you’ll see!’ He ignited the fire, which started to smelt But pretty soon Olaf had started to melt! ‘Olaf, come away, you’re dripping on the floor’ ‘That’s OK, Santa is worth melting for’ But then Elsa stepped in, ‘don’t panic, don’t worry’ And with a click of her fingers, gave Olaf his flurry. With Santa still Frozen and no hope in sight Everyone wondered who could help with their plight But then came a rustle, from behind Santa’s back And out popped a troll, right out of his sack! He looked at poor Santa, in his suit of red And planted a kiss , on to his head Santa came round, picked himself up off the floor And set back to work, just as before He spoke not a word, but went straight to the tree and placed down his gifts and giggled with glee Then laying his finger aside of his nose, and giving a nod, up the chimney he rose. He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle, And away they all flew like the down of a thistle. Then he exclaimed as he drove out of sight, Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
