For those who live in London, The final guest lecture for this academic year will take place this Thursday, 20th March at 6.15 at the Institute of Archaeology. Please see details below: Robert Van Langh Conservation and Research at the Rijksmuseum The Rijksmuseum was only partially open until April 2013 when the grand re-opening of the main building took place. During the period before the re-opening both conservation and research projects took place. During this lecture various examples of treatments and methodology as well as the research that started from working with these magnificent objects will be explained. At the end of the lecture a vision on how conservations science and technical art history on Dutch art will play an important role the coming years in the ‘Ateliergebouw’ in Amsterdam.
