For todays Mothers Day post I will post three names of Churches. Canaan Baptist, Crescent Heights Baptist and Garywood Assembly of God. 52 weeks a year, we attended church as a family. 52 weeks a year the matriarch of our family made sure of that, even the weekends my dad worked 11-7 or 7-3 at US Steel. The churches listed above were ones we attended while I lived at home and each served a season in our lives. Regardless of the name on the building or the people we saw there, my mom was there specifically to worship her King and to make sure we were guided by people who would teach us the same. She instilled in me the importance of corporate worship and the importance of having your family in church. If its not a priority for you... It wont be for your kids either was something she once told me... And Im sure I rolled my eyes. Mom was right!
