But the key to understanding more fully the magnificent sweep of salvation history is covenant, and to rather view Gods dealings with us as Father to child. The forgiven sinner is not just acquitted and dismissed from the courtroom. He is embraced by God, welcomed into His house, and a broken family is restored.
