“(For we walk by faith, not by sight:)” (2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV) Knowing this verse of Scripture will not introduce you to a supernatural dimension. One thing is to know it, but another thing altogether to live it, to make it your every day walk. This verse, simply stated, is telling us not to live by what we see or hear but by the Word of God. Too many Christians are talking what they see and are experiencing defeat in their lives, not realizing that the source of their defeats lies in the words coming out of their mouths. God is calling us to walk in a different spirit, just like Joshua and Caleb. They placed the promise of God above their circumstances. They saw what God had promised; the rest of Israel did not. The saddest part of it was that the promise was theirs too, but they chose to give more credit to what they were seeing rather than what God was saying. Unfortunately, the story keeps repeating itself. Determine today to walk by faith and not by sight and make your words agree with what the Word says and a life of victory and conquest awaits you. – Keys to Open Heavens –
