For whatever reason I had a little more difficulty getting out of bed this morning than usual, but I did (reluctantly). Then later on, there was a moment at work when I was laughing with some of my coworkers and I just stopped and thought how lucky I am. I remember last year the counselor at the cancer center told me about a gentleman who was getting treated for cancer and his work was giving him a hard time for taking time off of work. When I need a day off, I get a day off. When I need to be late, I am late. When I need to leave early for lunch to buy Paulie a birthday card, I can leave early. When I needed someone to sit with me when my husband had surgery, I had someone to sit with me. When I need wine, I have a bottle waiting for me on my porch. When I need to leave to pick up Paulie even though all the work isnt done, I can leave. When I need a place to have Paulies birthday party, I have a heated barn. When I need a fountain diet pepsi, I get the BIGGEST diet pepsi EVER!!!. When I need to step away to have a cry, I step away. When I need help with meals, I have the meal train set up. I just wanted everyone to know how much I LOVE my Prairie View family. Again I say......I am truly blessed.
