For years I have lived my life to satisfy and appease others in my life to gain their respect and approval.... this year and today forward i will live life for myself....... I AM GAY!....and it truly feels amazing to say this....Finally....i have lied for years to my family, friends, strangers, and even myself...not everyone can imagine the strength this takes and mental anguish this can cause someone unless you have gone through it yourself.... as a child I knew I was different and I believe this wasnt a choice.... this lifestyle chose me...i will no longer be ashamed or hide from it, but instead embrace it from this day on... this doesnt change who i am, this is j one aspect of ME. Im still the same person i was yesterday and will be the same tomorrow...(except a little happier)....the fact is im pretty awesome and my family and friends wouldnt change me for anything.. but most importantly I wouldnt change me for anything...things I have gone through and overcome in my life have made me who I am and perhaps gave me the courage and strength to do what Im doing today..i have the love and support of my family and closest friends and thats all I need.... so those who mind dont matter and those who matter dont mind! HAPPY 2015... I HOPE ITS AS GREAT AS I PLAN FOR MINE TO BE!
