Dumb title, but nice little article. The anti-vaccination movement wouldnt exist were it not for how spoiled weve become. Most people living today have never seen someone crippled or die from polio. Theyve never seen children die from the measles. In fact, Im guessing most anti-vaxxers arent even aware that childhood diseases CAN kill. Theyre so comfortable in our modern age, a golden age, that they cannot comprehend another more terrifying age, even though their parents and grandparents certainly do. We need to stop being stupid and stop taking for granted the blessings that science has given us. Vaccines truly are miracles. We need to use them.
