For years activists have split the argument regarding gun control as though control advocates want to remove personal rights when what is really wanted is to stop being killed by people who never should have had the power to kill placed in their hands in the first place. Access to guns needs to be controlled because we have lost the ability to distinguish between rational behavior and insanity. Placing the rights of the insane and irrational in our society above the rights of the rest of society is the thinking that has brought us to this and is a manifestation of insanity in the minds of those who demand that this behavior continue.
