Jack Gallagher, is getting ready to start a new basketball season. This will be his first year playing without Mom, in the stands to cheer him on. Actually she was normally telling him what to do. You see back in he day, my, wife Lisa Gallagher, was a great point guard herself. Jack certainly gets his amazing talent from her. Last year after Lisa was diagnosed with #braincancer her and Al got Jack an awesome pair of Chris Paul CP3 basketball shoes and he had the best season of his life. When practice started a few weeks ago Jack was upset because the sneakers mom got him no longer fit his feet. He grew two sizes. I was fortunate enough to find the same shoes at the mall. So after we got his new CP3s we took one of the shoes his mom bought him to her grave and he wrote a note on it, planted a flower in it, and left it with her. Jack and I then made this short video and posted it on line. He is hoping Chris Paul might see it and one game honor his mom by wearing her intials on his oiwn CP3s. Probably never happen but this was a nice was for Jack to honor his mom as he plays his first tournament this weekend. By the way he is keeping the other shoe in his basketball bag for good luck. Everytime he looks at it I am sure he will hear his mom screaming from his heart…..Jack you need to play better defense…steal that ball!!!!!
