A new Survey has now linked it to physical & mental health too. The Mediterranean Food Culture, which is characterised by the expenditure of Fruits & Vegetables, pulses (beans, peas, chickpeas and lentils etc.), fish, olive oil and nuts, has been proven to be very good to the health in a way of a lesser probability of chronic disease and a lower Rate of mortality.
