For your discernment : Prophetic Word for 2015Releasing Mantles in the Church (2 Kings 2)In January of 2014 God gave me a prophetic word for the Body of Christ which I shared at the time with Deeper Worship Center, the church I pastor. These things were going to start in 2014 and empower the church for 2015 and beyond.The word God gave me: He was going to take home, to heaven, a number of spiritual leaders that were regarded as generals in the church. Their calling home would be sudden and the timing would surprise the church. Yet, like Elijah they had mantles which represented their gifting and ministry. These mantles would be released on the church. They were not only to be released on individuals who are already in ministry but also on the nameless, faceless church that ministers in the family, the marketplace, and throughout the world. God is raising up the Body of Christ with a new level of gifting and activation in which we will see the Kingdom of God come in greater power. However, these mantles are restricted to those who have the spirit of Elisha, who are willing to take up that which has already been given, the effect will be a double portion anointing. (2 Kings 2:13)Since the beginning of 2014 until now, I have been praying and watching as spiritual generals have been called home. God has revealed to me that the passing of three generals from different streams, with different types of ministry, will release different mantles and gifting into the body of Christ in the coming years.Bob JonesThe first general was Bob Jones. A man who has carried a great prophetic-seers anointing and fathered many in the prophetic ministry. God wants to release a greater prophetic mantle with greater accuracy on the Body of Christ. More people will hear clear direction and see beyond the veil of the natural into the realms of the supernatural. This anointing will release keys that unlock, not just hearts, but cities.Steve HillThe second general is evangelist Steve Hill, who God used mightily with a message of repentance in the Pensacola revival. Steve carried this mantle after the Pensacola revival and continued to release it on many. However, in his heavenly graduation an increase of this gift and mantle is coming on the body of Christ. Not only will we have a greater anointing to share the gospel but there will be a spirit of boldness. This boldness, like that which was on Steve Hill, will strengthen and empower the church to speak truth in perilous times. The light will outshine the darkness.Myles MunroeThe third general has brought great truth into the body concerning financial release and prosperity. Many struggle today with the “Faith Message” because of abuses in church finances. Yet, there is rich truth and a mantle for increase that God gave to Myles and wants to release on His church. Many in the church went through recession with the rest of the United States but that was not the heart of God. God wants to raise up a people that are blessed so the church can meet the need that the world fails to meet. Similar to the blessing which came on Joseph, who was used in wisdom to direct the world’s finances to bring supply to the children of Israel and the world, God is releasing new finances and strategies for people to establish His kingdom.Other GeneralsI believe there will be one or two more generals that God is calling home in the near future and possibly before the end of 2014. These generals will also have mantles that release something accordingly on the body of Christ. To all that are willing to take, through prayer and faith, the mantles that have fallen from these great generals, they will start to walk in a new level of ministry like Elisha. We have to understand that like Elijah these generals have no need to take these mantles with them, they have “fallen” from them, and are available for the Elisha’s to pick up and carry.
