Weather Situation A high pressure system centred to the southeast of Tasmania will continue to move only very slowly eastward during the next couple of days, directing a moistening east to northeasterly airflow across Tasmania. A low centred over the Bight will move steadily eastwards to be centred over southern New South Wales by late Monday. The low is then expected to move to near far eastern Victoria during Tuesday, then to the east of Tasmania during Wednesday, as an associated trough moves southward across the state.
