Forever Sin Free By Arley Steinhour 032314 When I was born, so long ago, While I was young, I had to know, Was there something up beyond, This place of life, my mortal pond. Through my youth, Id swim about, Always watching for Devil Scout, Hanging on a fine thin, line, With food at end, so I could dine. A nibble from fare, Id too often take, Fare, so sharp, mouth tasted my Rake, A time or two, I could feel great pain, Fighting hard, escaped, to swim again. That which I breathed, and could also Swim, Brought solid clouds, that floated dim, Splash, Splash, and down came food, I ate one once and it tasted so good. Food was followed by a woven cloud, Wrapped around friends, crying so loud, I stayed in shadow, not play Come Up Game, Although the caught called me, by name. This side, that side, holy cloud was cast, And my deep hunger, said play, at last, Abandoning old ways, gave over my swim, And was tagged forever, as belonging to Him. Im passing, now, into an old-age life, No longer worried, Im part of His Wife, Individual net, or for All, Promised HE, We Graduate Home, Forever Sin Free. AMEN Through our life we struggle, To make choices, wrong or right, Theres One, we all can snuggle, Chose the Light, not the Blight. Archive, & pic. at: mccookgazette/blogs/1580/entry/57581/
