Forget Muslim countries; lets talk about Christian countries. The League of Nations 1926 Slavery Convention defines slavery as... the status or condition of a person over whom any or all of the powers attaching to the right of ownership are exercised and the slave trade was defined as including... all acts involved in the capture, acquisition or disposal of a person with intent to reduce him to slavery... Now, please read the text of the 13th Amendment to the US Constitution: Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, *except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted*, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction. So if you want to cry and wail that Saudi Arabia or Iran practices the subjugation of women, and that this is symbolic of some religion in general, fine. You must also point out that the United States is the only country in the world *THAT STILL PRACTICES SLAVERY* and, in fact, has over 2.2 million slaves imprisoned in work plantations, along with another 4.8 million free-range slaves who are allowed limited mobility on the provision that they forfeit all legal and property rights.
