Ok I want to update my family and friends who care: Yesterday, at Taylors (my youngest) therapy session, I spoke with this therapist. She has known him for going on 4 years now. She was his school counselor in 3-5 grade and also has a private practice so yes she is plenty experienced and trained. She wants to send Taylor to Childrens to have a complete evaluation done. I agreed with this. Of course there is a long waiting list but it will be worth it. She expressed concerns which I have had all these years and no one else would even consider my thoughts. I did not bring it up, she did. She thinks Taylor is autistic. Relief flooded over me as finally a professional and one that has known Taylor for a long time, said what I had been thinking for so long. As soon as I know when the evaluation will happen, I will update you all again.
