Former “Walking Dead” showrunner Frank Darabont is trading in zombies for something much more glamorous; but possible even more gruesome – The Mob. TNT has released a sneak peek at Darabont’s latest show, “Mob City,” a 1940s-era drama about corruption in the LAPD. The series stars Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead) and Neal McDonough (Justified), with Gregory Itzin (24), Robert Knepper (Prison Break), and Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes) co-starring. “Mob City” is based off the book, “L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America’s Most Seductive City,” by John Buntin; and tells the true story of the decades-long conflict between the LAPD and ruthless crime lord Mickey Cohen, who will be played by Jeremy Luke. “Mob City” is set to premiere Wednesday, December 4 at 10/9c.
