Forrest Allen Wards Words: Today, I ask myself this question, When did I get angry at someone who was treating me with respect? Seems impossible that I would. The greatest solution to anger is delay. We each have a reactive mind, which can produce anger at the drop of a hat. We ALL have a rational mind which can calm anger and keep emotions in check and sustain appropriate actions. Anger is like a suitcase. Many who hang on to that suitcase cannot wait to unpack it wherever they are and dump it onto whoever is near them. Angry people have some notion they are being powerful. Loving people want others to see how powerful they are. Though anger is an emotion, it is not a place to live. Over time, it will wither us and we cannot thrive. Lets be among those who disarm anger and render it useless. Life is too short to be miserable. - Forrest Allen Ward
